The optometrist I had the procedure done by, Dr. Thomas McBride, was phenomenal. He was honest and very professional. He was very attentive to my needs, and I was told he was in a good mood and had no health problems. I would definitely go back to him at some point.
The procedure itself was very simple, but the doctor was right in the middle of it all, and his laser and optics were very good. He uses a laser that will not burn your eyes, only cut them. In other words, if you are a good candidate, you will not need to wear make-up and eye-protection.
I had the most amazing eye doctor, and he was right in the middle of the procedure. He didn’t just sit on a table and watch the laser work, he just ran the laser right into my eye without cutting it off. The doctor was very professional and extremely attentive to my needs. He was very good about explaining everything to me and making sure I understood every step. I even had to say “no” several times for myself. I would recommend Dr. McBride to anyone.

Dr. McBride, a well-known Vancouver-based cosmetic surgeon who’s practiced for more than 25 years, doesn’t do surgery. Instead, he does eye procedures.
If you’ve got a problem with your eyes, you need a doctor who actually does eye surgery. That’s because Dr. McBride does some pretty amazing eye makeup, which I’ve always loved. But he does other things too. He does optical burton, which I never knew was a thing.
