If you’ve never seen the movie, “The Roman General,” you’ve missed out on one of the most popular movies in movies history. Since its release in 1998, it’s been the go-to movie for soldiers around the world.

The movie was shot on location in Romania and is based off of a story by Roman Polanski. The movie is set in the time of the Roman Empire and follows a Roman general named Marcus Aurelius (played by Christian Bale) as he continues to lead his soldiers through the hellish world of invading barbarians. It’s clear to see why the movie has such popularity.
