We are all in a constant state of flux, but the key difference is that we are always being pushed. The pressure to succeed in life comes from both within us and without. As this constant state of flux continues, we find our confidence and self-esteem slipping as we constantly feel the constant push to succeed.

In some ways, this kind of self-awareness is a natural part of human evolution. We evolved from simple, non-thinking creatures into a world of highly self-aware animals. To find out that we aren’t the ones we feel like we are, we need to feel it ourselves. This is the challenge of the modern day. Not to have a sense of self, but to have a sense of our own existence.

It feels like we’re all on the same team trying to kill each other. But it’s not that simple. There might be a few of you who feel that you are the one who is the bad guy. This is the thing to realize when you are on the edge of your seat, waiting for a new episode of this TV show.
