how is a generalization used in literature

I love this quote from “The Golden Age of American Fiction,” by James Michener: “A writer’s function is to define the conditions that allow a particular state of affairs to exist.

This idea is echoed in the book, The Art of Fiction, by William Faulkner, which defines the “mode” of how a character works through a given situation. He writes that “a writer should never write about a character whose situation is not the main point of the story” because the “clarity of perspective” of a character can be very important.

The problem in general is that the meaning of words and descriptions isn’t usually as clear as it should be. Even if we think we understand the meaning of the word “dog”, we’re probably wrong, but we can only define the word by asking the person who coined it, and the meaning they assigned to that word.

Well, the dog example is a good example. But the word generally refers to a type of dog, and not necessarily a dog that is a dog (I mean, its a dog, and that word is usually what we think of when we think of a person with a specific breed or characteristic).

For instance, if you ask someone what the word “genius” means, they might respond, “That’s what the word means, but I don’t use the word “genius” in my everyday vocabulary. It’s used to describe a person or thing that is very rare and special.” They might not even know that “genius” is an adjective.

The word genius is used to refer to a person or thing that is very rare or unique. Not just a person who has special powers. That is a person or thing that is very rare and extremely rare. Usually, in literature, we use the word to refer to something that is much rare and rare, but not that rare. In other words, a genius is someone whose specialty is rare and very rare.

Genius is not a very well-defined term. It is an adjective, which is a noun that describes an action or state resulting from a rare or exceptional talent. It is used to describe a person who is extremely gifted at a particular skill or work. So, to use a quote from a famous book, “no one is a genius. It is a rare man or woman who can do extraordinary things with great talent.” And that’s the point of the quote.

People who are considered brilliant in a given profession are not typically thought of as geniuses because they are rare and exceptional. That is why we can use this quote as a generalization. Its not that we can’t take this quote as a generalization, its that we can’t take it to mean that the author was a genius or that he was exceptionally gifted.

This is why I think that the quote is so important. Because without it, no one could take this quote to imply that the author was special. It’s an obvious statement. There is no ambiguity. It’s true. Not even a hint of ambiguity. It’s just the truth. And it’s also a pretty powerful one. Even if you disagree with it, it has a great impact on how you react to an author or a character in a book, article, or movie.

Take, for instance, J.K. Rowling. Rowling is considered to be one of the greatest authors in the world, yet in her novels, she is considered to be a “generalization” of the author. Its a common assumption that if a writer writes a great book, that that book is an example of the author’s “genius.” And that is a big mistake. Because there is no such thing as a “genius.
