At the base, there is a connection between fear and anxiety. Fear is about a perceived threat that we don’t know anything about. Anxiety is about our inability to cope with a situation that may be threatening to us. As you know, the way we’ve been taught for a long time (and continue to be taught) to get through life without fear and anxiety, causes some of the most anxiety-inducing experiences possible.
I was just about to say that I think we have a relationship with anxiety and fear that is not fully understood, but I will say this: anxiety is not the same as fear. Both anxiety and fear are feelings, and feelings are not the same as thoughts. Thinking is the most basic form of thinking, and thinking about a situation or event is an act of thinking. Thinking is just a feeling, and a feeling is not a thought.
When we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot, then we no longer control them, and we no longer have the ability to affect them. Because we don’t know what to do with them, we stop thinking. We stop thinking about them, and we don’t really have any control over them anymore.
Thinking is like your own personal time-loop. It’s like when you drive your car off the road, then you drive your car off the road for a few minutes, then you drive it off the road for the next few minutes, etc. The problem is that you drive off the road and it’s not your fault. You were in a time loop.
In a time loop, you have no control over where you are, what you are doing, or why you are doing it. In this case, you are driving your car off the road and then driving it off the road for the next few minutes, then driving it off the road for the next few minutes, etc. You have no control over how long you are driving off the road.
This is actually a common phenomenon in the tech world, a phenomenon that goes back to the early days of the internet. The internet became a huge thing, and you could access it everywhere, and people could surf the net anywhere. But the net wasn’t very good at controlling how long they could surf, because the internet still has a very large amount of control over how it functions.
