The first thing to understand about east-west traffic flow is this: It is a three-way traffic-flow, which means it is flow one. This means east-west traffic is the first and only lane in the flow, and traffic flowing in the opposite direction is the second and third lane. It’s like walking through a busy, but one-way street; it’s not a good thing.
If a driver is going straight east the first lane is still going straight east, and the second lane is going straight west. If a driver is going east-west they are going to be in the second lane and the third lane. If a driver is going straight east the third lane is going straight west. If a driver is going straight west the first lane is still going straight east, and the second lane is going straight west. So the three lanes are always going the same direction.
This is why there are three lanes in most of the traffic in London. If a driver is going straight east and they hit a traffic light that turns into a roundabout, the cars behind will be going straight east. If a driver is going straight west and they hit a traffic light that turns into a roundabout, the cars behind will be going straight west. By getting rid of the roundabouts, London can avoid so many accidents.
Of course, this isn’t the only reason. If you look at the road signs, they only refer to the three lanes in the road. The road is actually two-lanes, but they take the same name. The first lane, which is actually one lane, says in capital letters “Lane 1”. If you were to take the road and turn it into a roundabout, you’d turn into “Lane 2”.
I think the reason some people seem to think that London will be just fine with a roundabout is because it seems to be the only way to prevent traffic jams and avoid accidents. It’s the same reason why we have roundabouts in our cities. We dont want drivers to take the road we want to drive to because it would make it harder for them to get to their destinations.
The problem with this is that if you just go for the roundabout approach it is very easy to get stuck in a traffic jam. Even if traffic is moving around in the right direction, you will still be stuck in a jam. To avoid such a situation you might want to build up your own lane. So, Lane 1.
And that’s how we get to the point where we can take a road map of an entire city and have it show us the road that goes from the main city to the parking area. In an ideal world we could have just a map of the entire city and just show some street names and streets. But in the real world there is no such thing as a real city, you would have to go to each city and check each street and see how they look at the time.
And you would have to get into the habit of checking the names of the streets around the city, too. But the main part of Lane 1 is to build up your own lane. Once you have that you can start building outwards towards the main city. That’s the part that we’re going to focus on in the next few chapters.
For me, the most important part is to try to build my own lane in the first place. I have a strong inclination to the West side of the city, but there’s not enough space between the two lanes of my own lane and the two lanes of the main city to build out from. I think about this all the time. A good way to think about it is that you have a lane.
So you have a lane. It is a good idea to try to build it out. The problem is that it is so hard to do. You have to get a lot of people to agree to build a lane, and then you have to convince them to build a lane across a lot of terrain, all within a short period of time. For this you need to convince people that they are willing to get their hands dirty and build the lane.
