General-Marcus, I believe I have found a new home. I have been spending the past six months (which I believe was a tad of a blur) in what’s called the “bachelor house”. After a few months of the “normal” life I have come to think of it as a new beginning. I am now living with my girlfriend, and we have a house to ourselves.

And if you think about it, the general manager is just someone who is responsible for a lot of things in a specific department. If you are a CEO, you have a lot more time on your hands, and you have time to think.

It’s just a funny line, but the truth is that the general manager is essentially the CEO’s assistant. The CEO is the one who decides on stuff, then spends most of his free time thinking about what he is going to do next. So the general manager can take over a lot of other people’s jobs, but they are not in charge of everything. The CEO does all the thinking and planning, and the general manager just manages to get things done.
