Advocacy is most appropriate when the general purpose of your speech is to motivate, excite, or edify.

So as we saw in the very first scene in the new trailer, we are watching a scene in which Colt Vahn, in a desperate attempt to save his life, attempts to speak to a member of the Visionaries, who are planning on making an escape from his island. In the first scene, he says “I’m advocating for you to go back to the island and be happy.

So, the general purpose of his speech is to make Colt look like a fool, but he fails. He ends by telling the Visionaries, and the rest of the party, that he is going to go back to the island anyway, but he’s going to be happy there, so he’ll save them. And that’s exactly what he does, because he doesn’t want to spend eternity being miserable on the island.

He’s still advocating for a position, but its not the one he wants, so he changes course, and does exactly what he wants to do, because its what he thinks is best for everyone. After his speech, he says to the party, “I’m going back to the island.” When he says that, it’s almost like he’s telling the party not to protest, to just carry on with their normal lives.

This is a good example of using the “I” to be happy, and the “we” to be right. What we really want to do is keep everyone on our side, so we can keep our power in the world, so we can keep our world peaceful. But at the same time, we should always be in touch with the general idea of what is good and what is bad.

This is the same sort of thing that people say when they advocate the value of animal rights, or the dangers of global warming, or the necessity of ending the war in Iraq. But the same thing can also be said about a person’s position on a political issue. A political position is something you want your audience to accept, because it means you have a position on something. To get your audience to accept a political position means that you have to be right.

That is the reason why even though we advocate a position on political issues, we don’t go all out for it. We don’t want to cause our audience to hate us, or think we are evil. We want to get our audience to think we’re right, but we don’t want to cause them to hate us if they don’t agree with us.
